Dashboards in Parallel provide a powerful and customizable way to visualize your organization’s data and streamline insights. Whether you're tracking internal activity or understanding client behavior, Dashboards can help you stay on top of what matters most.

🔍 What Are Dashboards?

Dashboards are interactive and personalized boards that allow you to display real-time data through various modules. Once Dashboards are activated in your workspace, all users can view them, but only users with specific permissions will be able to create and edit dashboards.

  • View Access: Available to everyone in the workspace.

  • Create/Edit Access: Limited to users with admin or specific permissions (set by your organization).

This ensures data is visible across teams while maintaining centralized control over dashboard design and content.

📚 Multiple Boards, Fully Personalized

You can create multiple dashboards to serve different purposes — from tracking internal project status to monitoring client insights.

Dashboards are composed of modules, which are visual building blocks that show specific data. Available module types include:

  • Numeric value (e.g., total ongoing Parallels)

  • Percentage (e.g., % of Parallels pending signature)

  • Pie chart (e.g., risk distribution among clients)

  • Action buttons (e.g., a button to create a Parallel from a specific template)

Each module helps tell a story or prompt action directly from the dashboard interface.

📈 Where Does the Data Come From?

Modules can be built using two primary data sources:

  • Parallels: Ideal for tracking internal workflows and team performance:

  • Profiles: Perfect for understanding your clients and collecting structured insights: (for example: client risk distribution, % of high-risk clients or any data derived from client-filled forms)

You can mix and match modules from both sources on the same dashboard for a comprehensive overview.

🚀 Example Use Cases

  • Onboarding board: Oversee KYC completion rates or client risk distribution.

  • Sales Ops board: Monitor open contracts, deal stage distribution, and click-to-initiate contract templates.

  • Compliance/Legal board: View review completion rates and pending approvals.
