Dashboards in Parallel help you visualize and track key data from your Parallels and Profiles. Here's how to create and customize them to suit your needs.

🚀 Getting Started

  • Navigate to the Dashboards section from the main menu.

  • If you have editing permissions, you'll see the Edit option in the top-right corner.

  • From there, you can create a new board by clicking the “+” icon, or rename/duplicate existing boards.

Adding a Module

Click Add module to open the module creation panel. Here, you’ll choose:

  • A data source: either Parallels or Profiles

  • A module type: numeric, percentage/ratio, pie chart, or action button

🧩 Creating a Module Based on Parallels Data

After selecting the module type you’ll be able to name your module and choose a display size, as well as set filters to determine what data will be displayed.

These are the types of filers you’ll use:

  • Status: Choose from which parallels to show data, choose if you only want to show data from ongoing Parallels or include all.

  • E-signature status: Filter by signature progress, great for tracking pending or unsigned Parallels.

  • Template: Display data from specific templates (e.g., show KYC vs. contract templates separately).

  • Tags: Use tags from your Parallel list to segment data.

  • Approvals: Filter by approval status like pending, approved, or rejected.

  • Shared: Display data based on whom the parallels been shared with.

Different types of modules requite setting different filters:

  • Percentage/ratio modules: You'll need to define separate filters for the numerator and denominator (e.g., ongoing Parallels out of all created).

  • Pie charts: You can add multiple items to the chart, each with its own filter criteria.

  • Quick Access Buttons: You can also create action buttons for quick Parallel creation from specific templates.

🧩 Creating a Module Based on Profiles Data

To work with Profile data, you’ll have to select a module type (numeric, percentage/ratio, or pie chart), choose a name and size for your module and define the following fields:

  • Profile type: Choose between Companies, Individuals, or any custom Profiles you've defined in your organization.

  • Result type: Decide whether to count entries or aggregate values from a field.

Example Use Case

If you want to show the different types of contracts that you have in your organization, select pie chart and pull values directly from a property like Contract Type. Since this is a property with a predefined list of answers we can create a chart that will include all its options by selecting “From profile property”

You can also create Custom Chart Items to combine data from multiple fields. For instance, to display the risk levels for profiles tagged as “client,” define a chart item for each risk level with appropriate filters.

Dashboards in Parallel are a powerful way to track key metrics and streamline insights across your workspace. By tailoring modules with precise filters and data sources, you can turn raw data into meaningful, actionable overviews.
