Parallel is a tool designed by and for lawyers, however, not only the legal team uses Parallel. In fact, in many occasions, the legal team creates the contracts' or KYC templates, for example, but it is the commercial or administrative team that uses those templates to create and send parallels on a daily basis.
However, we know that some legal data collected in Parallel is very sensitive.
That's why in Parallel Profiles, the database in which you store all your legal data, you can hide the information of certain properties from users or teams.
How to set up the visibility of a property in a type of profile
1️⃣ Go to Profiles.
2️⃣ Choose the type of profile which has the property whose visibility you want to adjust.
3️⃣ Go to the three dots button next to the property and select Configure visibility 👁️.
By default, all users of the organization can see and edit the property and its data.
However, you can change this setting and choose any other combination of visibility and editing permissions that suits your needs. For example:
All users can see the property and its data, but only some users can edit them.
The property and its data are hidden from all users, except for some a team of users who can see and edit them.
