Parallel allows you to customize the messages you send to your recipients to have a closer contact with them, even if you send it to multiple recipients.

In this article, we will show you:

  • Where can I customize messages

  • How can I customize messages

  • Categories of identifiers in Parallel

  • Example of use of identifiers

Where can I personalize messages

After editing and adapting a template or creating a request from scratch, at the moment of sending it, i.e. when you click Next, the following window will open:

You can customize both the subject line and the message below by clicking on the customize button { }

How can I customize messages

In order to customize the messages (for example, with the name and last name of your recipients), type the {{ symbol or select it at the top of the textarea.

Categories of identifiers in Parallel

You can find different identifiers to create more engaging messages with your recipients, without the need to adapt every single message.

This is a list of the different categories of identifiers that you will find in Parallel:

1. Recipient's first name

When you send the petition, the name you have saved in contacts for this recipient will automatically appear in the text of the petition email.

2. Recipient's last name

If you want a more formal tone with your clients or simply address them by their last name as (Mr. or Ms.), use this identifier so that only the recipient's last name appears.

3. Recipient's full name

If you want to address your recipient by their first and last name, you can use this identifier, so you don't have to put together the two previous ones.

4. Recipient's e-mail address

The recipient's e-mail customization is useful in case you need to indicate the e-mail address of the person who will receive the request.

5. My first name

This option is used to display your name in the e-mail automatically. For example, if several people in the organization use the same template, or you want to share it with someone, it will not be necessary to adapt the name of the signature.

6. My last name

Similar to the previous identifier, this option is used to display your last name in the e-mail automatically.

7. My full name

If you want to introduce yourself or sign with your full name (first and last name) you can use this identifier instead of joining my first name and my last name.

8. Title of the petition

With this identifier, the title you have assigned to the petition you are sending will appear automatically.

9. References

You can also use responses added in internal fields of the parallel to customize the message.

Example of the use of identifiers

Here are two images with an example of how we have used the identifiers of Recipient Last Name and My Full Name.

When writing the body of the email you will see the text like this:

And when your recipients receive it, they will see the text with the identifiers replaced by their values:
