Dealing with several processes at the same time could lead to chaos when you do not organize them.

Parallel gives you the option to create folders and tags for you to avoid this problem.

They exist both to organize your parallels and templates. This makes it easier and faster for you and your team to work in a sorted work environment.

In this article you will find:

How to create folders for your templates

In the Parallel home screen, select the Templates view:

Select the Create Folder button at the top right of the screen:

The following window will open for you to enter:

  1. Folder name

  2. The templates you want to store in this folder

That's it, your folder is created! πŸ“

Who will have access to this folder?

Only the people with who you have shared the templates stored

How to store your parallels in folders

There are two different ways to save parallels you have created in one of your folders.

1️⃣ Choose parallels and save them in folders.

Select the processes you want to save from the parallels or templates table:

Choose move to

A window will open for you to choose the destination

Select Move and you have them saved in the folder you wanted!

There is also a Create Folder button if you don't have the folder created yet.

2️⃣ Save the parallels that are created from a template automatically in a folder.

If you already know that you will always save parallels created from a certain template in the same folder, you can set it to save each of them automatically!

Select the template in question and click on Edit template:

You will notice that there is a feature called Folder for created Parallels

By default, it will be selected that parallels created from any template will be saved in the Parallels general folder.

To choose another folder, select the Change button.

A window will open to select the folder where you want all parallels created with this template to be automatically saved.

If you do not have the folder created yet, note that there is also a Create Folder button to do it instantly.
