If you have created a template or started a parallel, but you want someone else to be the owner, you can transfer ownership to them by following the steps below.

How to change the owner of a template

In order to transfer ownership of a template, you must first share it with the person you want to transfer it to.

Once shared, go back to the Share template window.

Within the Share template window, select the word Editor of the person you want to transfer the template to.

⚠️ Note: You can only transfer ownership of templates to users, never to a group.

When you do it, you will see a dropdown menu like the one below:

Select Transfer ownership and, when the following window appears, click on the Yes, transfer button.

Then, you will see that you are listed as the Editor and the person to whom you have transferred the template as the Owner.

You can also see it in the My Templates section when you refresh the page. When you were the owner, if you selected the template it appeared with your name as the owner:

Now, the name of the person to whom you have transferred ownership of the template will appear.

⚠️ Note: From this moment on you will not be able to share or manage the ownership of the template, the new owner will have to do it.
