For many use cases with Parallel, the result is a PDF document — it can even be signed!

This document can now include a cover page, a back cover and/or an attachment 🖇️.

For example, in your service proposal template with a customer, you can include a corporate front and back cover. In addition, you can also attach the same terms and conditions to all your contracts of a template.

Thus, Parallel helps you standardize your contracts, while offering you the flexibility to have each one completed collaboratively with the client with specific information.

🎥 Watch how to do it here! ▶️ (This video is in Spanish, but it shows this feature in Parallel ).

¿What can I attach to my Parallel template?

  • Cover page

  • Back cover

  • Template attachment

Cover page

Add the cover pages of your company's documents to the final PDFs of your parallels.

You can create more personalized and stylish documents. Remember you can also choose the style of your fonts, margins, text and titles colors.

Back cover

Add a stylish closing page.

The back cover will be the last page of the document. It will go after the attachments, whether they are attachments of documents uploaded to a parallel or fixed attachments of the template.

Template attachment

Add documents that should always be attached to all the parallels of your template.

For example, if you have a contract template, which should always include the general terms and conditions of services or the data protection policy, you can include it.

If your template also includes files fields set up to attach the uploaded documents to the final PDF (e.g. copy of ID, powers of attorney of the signatory, etc.), they will be included after this template attachment.

🎥 Here you can see some examples of final PDFs with cover and back pages, and attachments ▶️ (This video is in Spanish, but it shows this feature in Parallel ).

¿How can I add these attachments to my templates?

1️⃣ Go to My templates

2️⃣ Select a template and go to Edit template

3️⃣ Scroll down to the end of your template. After all the fields, you will see this space:

4️⃣ Choose the document you want to attach and then select where do you want it to be in the final document:

What else should you know?

  • The PDF files that you use as cover page, back cover or fixed attachment cannot be edited within Parallel. Make sure that the content and format are correct before uploading them.

  • The PDF files that you use as cover page, back cover or fixed attachment cannot contain dynamic text with references that depend on how the parallel is completed.

  • The PDF files that you use as cover page, back cover or fixed attachment cannot be hidden or shown conditionally within Parallel. If you want to have different versions of your document with different cover pages, back covers or fixed attachments, you will have to create different templates for each case.

We hope this feature will help you create more professional and personalized documents with Parallel.
