In Parallel, the main work unit you will use is the parallel.
Parallels are the tool to collect the information you need from your recipients, whether they are your clients, employees or anyone else.
In this article we explain how you can find the parallels in different ways:
Search
The list of parallels shows all the processes that you have created or that someone has shared with you.
You will see that at the top of the list there is a search engine bar to look for parallels.
In this search engine you can search your parallels (1) by name (first column of the list of parallels) and (2) by recipient (second column of the list of parallels).
🚀 This is the fastest way to find a parallel!
Filters in the list of parallels
If you want to do another type of search, don't worry, at Parallel we give you more options.
Sort parallels alphabetically according to parallel Name
By default, the list of parallels shows all the processes you have created or that someone has shared with you in order of creation, from the most recent to the oldest.
Instead, you can sort this list alphabetically (A to Z or Z to A) by clicking on the down arrow in the parallel Name column.
Filter by Status
If you are not looking for a specific parallel and simply want to see the petitions that are in a certain status, you can use the filter in the Status column.
With this filter you can choose to see only the parallels that are in a specific status:
Drafts
Pending
Completed
Closed
For more information on the meaning of parallels' status, read this article.
Filter by the people or teams that you Share the parallel with.
If you want to find the parallels that someone has shared with you or that you have shared with a colleague or a group, this filter is for you.
Clicking on the filter symbol in the Shared column will drop down a menu where you can add the following filters:
Shared with
Not shared with
The owner is
And then you have to add your partner or team of your choice.
If you add several filters, you can combine them at the same time either cumulatively "and" or alternatively "or".
Sort the parallels by Send date
As we have already explained, by default, the list of parallels shows all the processes that you have created or that someone has shared with you in order of sending, from the most recent to the oldest.
⚠️ Note: If they have not been sent, the date they are sorted by is the date they were created.
You can reverse this order from oldest to newest by clicking on the down arrow in the Send at column.
Filter by Tags
Finally, you can filter by tags. Read about how our tags work here.
Filter by template
In the column indicating the template from which you created your parallel is displayed in your home dashboard, you can filter by template.
Parallels sent to a Contact
If you need to find multiple parallels sent to a particular contact, you can also do this through the Contacts section.
When you enter this section you will find the list of contacts. By selecting one of them, you will directly see all the parallels you have sent to that contact.
